The NYPS-PTA was first initiated in 1987, and formally registered as a society in 1993.
Our key objectives (as outlined in the Constitution - amended 8 June 2011) are as follow:
- To develop and promote better relationship, understanding and cooperation between the parents and teachers through social activities and interaction;
- To provide opportunities for parents to volunteer, share or contribute their services, knowledge, expertise or time to the School for the benefit of the pupils;
- To assist, support and give donations to the School financially or otherwise for the development, improvement or activities of the School for the benefit of the pupils;
- To organise seminars, workshops, lectures, meetings or exhibitions for the benefit of its Members; and
- Generally, to do other things necessary to promote the objects of the Association.
