In celebration of Singapore National Parks’ (NParks) 150th Anniversary, NYPS presented NParks with 2,000 cupcakes made by our Primary 1 pupils – with the help of teachers and parent volunteers from NYPS-PTA.

CNY Cookies Making Demonstration 2009
It was just 2 weeks into school opening and our parents have already gotten themselves organised for the Chinese New Year cookie demonstration. Besides sampling the delicious delicacies, pupils got to watch the goodies being made right on the spot by our skillful parents.
Mid-Autumn Festival Celebration 2008
The full moon of mid autumn is believed to be the fullest and brightest. Besides its significance of unity and family togetherness, the festival is also one of the children’s favourites as they enjoy parading with their colourful lanterns, sharing the fun with their friends. And the festivities wouldn’t be complete without the delicious mooncakes, sweet pomelos and freshly-brewed Chinese tea, sponsored and prepared by our parents.
Teachers’ Day 2008
It’s Teachers’ Day and parents did not hesitate to express their appreciation toward our very own “Engineers of the Soul”. They cooked, decorated, served and even entertained as the teachers gathered in the school hall for a lunch served with love.
Floral Harmony @ Nanyang a hit at the Singapore Garden Festival 2008
Visitors to the the Floral Harmony @ Nanyang pavillion at the Singapore Garden Festival were amazed with the outstanding display of children’s and parents’ floral works.
Racial Harmony Day 2008
Try spotting the kacang-puteh man! During the 3-day Racial Harmony Day celebrations held in the school courtyard from 20-22 Jul, our parents ‘sold’ kacang-puteh, made malt candies and drew henna.
Annual General Meeting 2008
Wine tasting and roller-blading – these are certainly not the usual highlights of a AGM. A rare opportunity for parents and teachers to mingle and socialise.
